Bonar is dedicated to delivering the highest quality product for each application. To ensure we do so, our processes are tightly controlled and closely monitored. Bonar Yarns owns two plants in Dundee and Abu Dhabi.

 

These plants are both controlled and managed in accordance with our quality assurance regulations. Our plant in Dundee has been ISO certified 9001:2008. Next year, we aim for one multi-plant certificate which applies to our total business and which complies with ISO standards.

Controlling our production means also controlling our quality and development laboratories. Our laboratories are well equipped to conduct research, testing, and new product development. The quality of our yarns iscontrolled by three quality laboraties amongst others at Dundee ( Scotland), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Oostende (Belgium). Next to this, Bonar Yarns maintains a Development & Application Centre in Arnhem (NL) and a Development Laboratory at Asheville (NC, USA) to initiate and carry out development projects.

These facilities are the key to the launch of each new product. Our R&D team applies its experience and expertise to the improvement of our current processes and products and extensive research ensures that we have a full understanding of our customers' needs.
